This episode we take a break from the headlines and discuss an email from a listener; with permission, of course. The email was heartbreaking as the listener told us about some of their terrible experiences in churches. Namely, there was a massive betrayal of trust by the pastors in their church. We assert that pastors should always regard their conversations with people in the highest confidence and never discuss things without express permission of the confessor. This person feels that their faith is "beyond shipwreck" because of this and other experiences. We hope that sharing this will help you know you're not alone in how the church all too often fails people.
